Dr. Donovan will be presenting the management of spasticity in conditions like cerebral palsy. Topics covered will include non-invasive management (therapy, positioning, equipment), medications (Valium, Baclofen, Zanaflex), and procedures such as Botox injections and the Intrathecal Baclofen Pump.

“Handwriting Without Tears”

The purpose of this lecture is to provide parents, teachers, and professionals with a review of fine motor development and appropriate milestones that lay the foundation for handwriting skills. The lecture will highlight the benefits of using the HWT program in comparison to other models. The participants will learn through the use of lecture, discussion, and interactive application on how HWT can be used with children from the Preschool to Cursive levels.
