| Sensory Integration Affects Behavior and Learning |
| September 25, 2008 | Speaker: Dave Uchalik, Occupational Therapist Abilities Center |
| We are constantly receiving sensory input from the environment. Difficulty in processing this information manifests itself in the behaviors that we observe in individuals with Sensory Integration Disorders. Learning is impacted greatly by the way the brain interprets this information. Occupational Therapist, Dave Uchalik presents strategies to help read these behaviors and provide tools designed to help each teacher be more successful in the classroom, each parent be more successful at home and each child be more successful in life. |
