Autism
What is it?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is terms used by many professionals for children who have difficulties in social interaction, play and communication. This large group of children has similarities in the way they process and view the world. They often use tactics to cope with their fear and anxiety in seemingly routine situations that are socially unacceptable. These tactics generally elicit a response that is expected and predictable. Regardless of the scope, each child has his or her own strengths and challenges, and professionals and educators can help you and your child in the journey ahead.
